HSE Engineer / Specialist - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (New Startup Plant)

As an HSE Engineer/Specialist, you will be at the forefront of establishing and maintaining a robust safety and environmental management system. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. This is a unique opportunity to shape the HSE culture of a growing pharmaceutical company in one of Indonesia's most vibrant regions.
In this role, you will utilize industry-leading tools such as SAP EHS, MSHA, and OSHA compliance software to manage and monitor health, safety, and environmental performance. You will also have the chance to work with cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes, gaining invaluable experience in a rapidly evolving industry.
📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Provide training and awareness programs on HSE best practices.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSE objectives are met.
- Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses.
🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Certification in ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) is a plus.
- Proficient in using SAP EHS, MSHA, and OSHA compliance software.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
